How much does standard water heater replacement cost?
Standard installed pricing is $2,295 for a 40-gallon electric, $2,495 for a 50-gallon electric, $2,495 for a 40-gallon gas, and $2,795 for a 50-gallon gas water heater. Standard conditions apply.
Do you replace both gas and electric water heaters?
Yes. Water Heater Ready offers standard 40- and 50-gallon gas and electric replacement packages.
What is included in a standard replacement?
Standard packages include delivery, removal and haul-away, new hot- and cold-water connection materials, standard gas or electrical reconnection, standard relief connection, startup, testing and cleanup.
Is a 50% deposit required?
The standard package design uses a 50% deposit once live payment processing is activated. The estimated remaining balance is shown before the customer continues.
Can I request same-day service?
Same-day service may be available, but it is not guaranteed. Equipment, technician, address, permit, access and installation conditions must be reviewed.
What is Priority Scheduling?
Water Heater Ready Priority Scheduling is a $299 optional upgrade for priority review and the first available qualifying service window. Same-day installation is not guaranteed.
What photos should I upload?
Upload the full unit, manufacturer label, top connections, venting for gas or electrical connection for electric, surrounding area, access path, and any leak or visible damage.
Is the calendar appointment confirmed immediately?
No. The calendar collects a preferred two-hour service window. Dispatch must review the photos, equipment, location and installation conditions before confirming the final appointment.
Do you work on tankless or commercial systems?
Yes, but tankless, larger-than-50-gallon, conversions and commercial systems require manual review and custom scope confirmation.
What areas do you serve?
Water Heater Ready serves the Kansas City metro, including Kansas City, Kansas, Johnson County, Kansas City, Missouri, and approved surrounding areas.
Can customers visit the office?
No. The 811 Grand Blvd address is an administrative and dispatch office. Water Heater Ready does not accept walk-ins; service is performed at the customer’s property by appointment.
